Antonio Eduardo Taranto in art Nino Taranto

Naples, 28 August 1907 – 23 February 1986

 

 

 

Taranto was born in Forcella from Raymond Taranto and Maria Salomone. 

He Began thirteen years at the Teatro Centrale in Naples. In 1927 enters the company Cafiero-Smoke.

In 1933 was discovered by Anna Fougez that makes him debut in the Big magazine down to Wanda Osiris and Titan De Filippo giving life to extraordinary specters between here his character Ciccio Cheese. 

In 1938 he began his acting career with the film Grandmother  Happiness  Of Mattoli.

In 1955 he founded his own theatrical company. In 1958 he participates in several radio broadcasts. He Died in 1986 in Naples after a long illness.
