 Plot 

Turin, 1901. The Earl of Frasseneto risk financial ruin because of some investments wenbad. 

The daughter Hope renunciation of love of second lieutenant of cavalry Umberto Solaro to marry an Austrian Baron and save the family: marriage has for the girl extra pain of having to leave Turin. The officer, who tries in vain to forget his love, becomes champion of riding; but after the death of the horse Thrush occurred during a race, decides to enlist in the air force. World War I breaks out: Umberto Solaro has become an ACE of the air force.You can find a death during a difficult mission where his plane is shot down. The great sorrow of fellow Regiment who have always admired joins the cry of Hope Frasseneto.
